When I was living in Launceston (just after Ricky’s first incident that hit the news), I used to drive Taxis.

One Saturday I was sent to an address in Launceston (I won’t say where) and there who would get into my Taxi, none other than Tassie’s most celebrated cricketer Ricky Ponting. I was chuffed. I didn’t know what to say. I ended up taking him to his favourite golf course in Launceston. This is my brush with Ricky Ponting
