Hi Ricki

Congrats to you and the players for another excellent series of cricket this summer. Competition is intense, and rivalry more so. There is always banter and crowds invariably partisan, both home and away. As captain and leader of the Aussies, the way you have handled the press and the media and so on has been hugely professional and most impressive. I guess now there may be doubts about your future and continuing as Aussie skipper (cue the one about captains losing two Ashes series in the UK, but how many skippers have toured here more than once?)

Please take time out to think about your future, and don't make any speedy decisions about relinquishing the captaincy. You have been a great ambassador for your side, graceful in victory and in defeat, and your record stands testament to you as player and captain.
