Hey Ricki - I admire your strength and commitment to cricket and hope you can stay centred enough to ignore the trash being h#@*%!ed at you atm. I don't know why you and the Aussie cricket team come in for such a belting from the media, it's not like you assault women, bash police, get involved in major drug scandals etc. Perhaps the media don't like the way cricketers speak their minds instead of pandering to the media. Whatever! Don't change a thing about yourself. You rock! (as do all the Indian cricket fans I've noticed posting support to you. They restore my regard for India a little) Cheers!

Shame on every single person who has critisized the best captain australia has ever had. Everyone one is human and makes mistakes. Yet when Punter makes a little mistake everyone blames us losing the whole test on him!!! For shame! If our batsmen were in there usual form they would of been able to easily get that score.
We didn't play our best cricket and so we lost simple as that!
Also for all the idiots out there who are saying australia aren't the best in the world anymore, after one series loss are you so stupid as to think that we can't keep our world title!! Nonsense! We'll show you all next week against NZ who's boss!!

I must say that the comments that have been made about your choices in the last test is stupid.You have made choices in previous test matches that have brought victories. I am not sure if you do check this blog or not, I am also planning to write to you in a snail mail version of this letter.
I am an Indian, and I am very proud of what my cricket team has achieved this winters. However, I have to admit that you and your team has been made to look bad over and over again. People have also forgotten what you have achieved at the very highest level. I guess this is all a part and parcel of International cricket.
There are talks that Australia will now be dislodged from the top spot etc etc. I would say, please keep playing your natural game and please don't get paranoid about what some people in media say about you. I am a big admirer of you cricketing skills and I am sure you are a great human being.
On occasions, I am sure that you would agree that your team mates could have shown better judgments, but you stood by your team in all the lows and that is a commendable act for a leader. You are a fantastic cricketer and a fantastic leader, so please don't be disheartened and I sincerely hope that you bounce back stronger than ever. My best wishes are with you.
